Dauwd’s distinctive, electronic compositions are filled with a complex array of layers. Driving percussion underpins and synthesisers with various timbres, he is able to create a warm and danceable sound. Tonight Dauwd teams up with the Alma Quartet, consisting of members of the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra who’ve previously collaborated with electronic artists Henrik Schwarz and Hauschka. The concert on November 12 seeks to explore the relationship between electronic and classical music, creating a powerful fusion in the process.
Berlin based producer and DJ Dauwd has carefully curated this playlist to celebrate the upcoming night.
